SalesTrac, Inc. is the world’s largest developer of web-based event management software. Their application suite is delivered through PromoSpace.com and BrandTrend.com. PromoSpace.com’s social network and on-demand software provides brand managers and event marketing companies a single solution that manages the entire event process from scheduling through payment processing to 1099 sub-contractors (Pay Me Now! ©). BrandTrend.com delivers business analytics to marketing and sales executives using cutting edge data visualization.



Situation

Consumer products companies use SalesTrac software to gather business intelligence about their companies and brands. SalesTrac’s clients utilize network independent brand specialists who collect consumer opinions and data for SalesTrac’s corporate beer and spirits clients. Often appearing in bars and clubs to collect impressions from patrons about beverage brands, SalesTrac realized the need to capture real-time feedback from the field and then be able to synchronize the data online.

Solution

SalesTrac selected Checkbox Survey Solutions’ Checkbox Mobile® module to integrate real-time field feedback into their PromoSpace social network system. Checkbox Mobile® has enabled independent brand-specialists to collect data in the field using handheld devices and send the data back to a central server for analysis via a standard web browser. Prezza offers CHECKBOX® Mobile as an add-on client to Checkbox Survey Server or Checkbox Online Editions. CHECKBOX® allows organizations to collect data in the field using a lightweight client that synchronizes with your Checkbox installation or online account. Using a web browser, you can control the deployment of surveys to mobile devices and get real-time results from the field. SalesTrac relies on the hosted, zero-configuration, Checkbox Online as the back-end to their mobile data collection efforts.
