Default Embedding Custom Controls

I'm evaluating Checkbox and need to know if something is possible. The sales guy said to post a question here, so on with it.

We have a .Net User Control that we use on our custom survey tool that is used for our email subscription center. It populates a list of available newsletters from a db/service.

The control is displayed on the registration page. When someone signs in, they can subscribe to any newsletters they want. If they are already registered, it shows which newsletters they are already subscribed to. Upon saving the profile/registration info, the control pushes the data to a database/service for update.

Would it be possible for me use this newsletter control in Checkbox? Could I embed it in the registration page and control its display through the app?

Thanks for any insights.

Part of the answer will depend on exactly where the control will be used. When you say "registration page" are you referring to the page within Checkbox that allows a new user to create an account within Checkbox?

Yes, I am talking about the page where people register. That is where I'd like to drop custom the custom control.

I'll have to double check. Depending on the compilation settings used when the product is built, it may not be possible to do this. I'll do some research and get back to you.
