FAQ

What is the difference between a poll and a survey?

A poll is generally a one-question quick survey that respondents can answer with one mouse click. Polls are often embedded directly into web pages and respondents are usually shown summary results upon answering. Surveys or questionnaires are more comprehensive forms that may include many types of questions and format types that are designed to extract information from the user in the most efficient way possible. More advanced surveys may include conditional or branching logic that leads a respondent to other questions or pages based on their answers to previous questions. Surveys can be one or two questions, or as many as 100 questions, depending on the needs of the survey creator.
