Email Alerts from Checkbox Survey

Create conditional email notifications based on real time respondent data

You can easily add one or more Email Alert items to any survey in Checkbox Survey. This functionality allows you to notify one or more email addresses based on specific respondent data.  For example, if a respondent answers “Yes” to a question about needing to purchase additional products from your company, an Email Alert can be setup to notify your sales team.  Logic can be used to to analyze any number of questions, resulting in a potentially unlimited number of ways to utilize Email Alerts.

Realtime email notifications

To give your email invitations a personal feel, use the invitations manager to “merge” user information such as first name or company name into the subject or body of your email. Email marketing studies show that this increases response rates.

Mail merge response data

To make the Email Alert as useful and informative as possible, Checkbox Survey allows you to merge response data (from the current survey) into any field in the email alert. Create custom subjects, put information in the body, or even merge in email addresses into the To: or From: fields.

Powerful conditional logic

Use Checkbox Survey’s built in conditional logic to build powerful rules that determine exactly when to send an email alert. An unlimited number of rules can be compared using “And” or “Or” logic to build precisely the rule you need.

Send to any valid email address

You can easily send an email alert to any valid email address. Multiple addresses can be delimited with a semicolon, plus the To:, CC:, and BCC: fields are all available for your use.

Text or HTML emails

Email alerts can be sent with HTML formatting, which allows for more elegant formatting, or text format, which increases compatibility and delivery rates. In addition, HTML emails can use the same style template as the survey itself, allowing for consistent branding from start to finish.
