Checkbox Survey supports a variety of advanced features to ensure compatibility with email providers, including SMTP authentication, SSL support, opt out processing, and text and HTML formatting.
HTML or Text Format
Checkbox's Invitation Manager can send messages in HTML, which allows for more elegant formatting, or text format, which increases compatibility and delivery rates. Use the WYSIWYG editor to view your invitations before sending or preview invitations at the invitation group or individual recipient level.
Simple to Send, Organize, and View
Sending email invitations is quick and easy. Simply select the survey, format (HTML or text), select the recipients, enter the body of the email and send.
Invitations are organized into a hierarchy for viewing and searching and the summary page features an invitation histogram that displays a summary graph and table of responses.
Track Responses and Send Reminders
Easily view response rates for each survey invitation and set up automatic reminder emails to be sent to potential respondents who have not responded to your survey invitation.

Checkbox's high volume back end can support sending over 10,000 invitations at a time.
Pipe in User Info
To personalize your email invitations, Checkbox can pipe user information such as first name or company name into the body of the email. Email marketing studies show that this increases response rates.
Process Opt Outs
To comply with SPAM regulations, Checkbox allows invitation recipients to opt-out of subsequent email invitations for a given survey.
Allow Survey Login
For surveys that are restricted to registered users, Checkbox Survey gives users the option to "auto login," which allows users to bypass the login screen when taking the survey.
Customers who purchase the Checkbox Developer Kit can use the API to send invitations from other applications, add or delete email addresses from an invitation, create new invitations from scratch, and check the status of invitations.
