With Hidden Items, you can pass data into Checkbox Survey for use inside your survey.
Pass in data via the query string
Hidden Items can easily be configured to collect data from the query string that is used to access the survey. For example, you might have an internal tracking code that you’d like to be captured with the survey response. Simply add a Hidden Item to your survey and pass this in via the query string.
Collect data from the session or a cookie
(Server Edition only) When Checkbox Survey resides on the same server as your other web applications, you can pass data to your survey via session variables or cookies.
