Version 4.5 Developer Kit
I've just recently checked back to see that version 4.5 has been released since our implementation of 4.4.1. Is there a version 4.5 of the Developer Kit? The downloads area for our support account doesn't show one, so I am wondering if it has been updated or if I should install the 4.4.1 DevKit on top of a 4.5.1 installation.
Thanks,

Also, is the 4.4.1 dev kit binary compatible with the 4.5.1 survey tool. I don't want to update my server and have my apps break.

*Bump*
I've downloaded and set up a v4.5 instance to try it out. Looking at the release notes, I see these bullets:
- *New web service for creating and sending invitations.
- *New web service for managing surveys.
- *New web service for exporting survey responses.
Where are these? We are licensed for the DevKit, but I cannot find a link in the Customer Support area.
I am also interested to see if a couple issues have been fixed although they are not mentioned in the release notes:
Password encryption
User Management

Word from Support
rtrainer,
This is the info I received from Support:
However, on a sandboxed installation, we put the 4.4.1 version of UserManagementService.asmx in a 4.5 instance of Checkbox. The Checkbox.Web.Services.dll and Checkbox.Web.Services.Proxies.dll are included in the 4.5 installation, so we did not replace those with the binaries from the 4.4.1 DevKit.The 4.5 SDK is still under development and no release date has been set.
The 4.4.1 SDK will only run with 4.4.1 installation of Checkbox. You can not use it for 4.5 installation.
Our custom application did not break for the web service methods we are using, although we're only using a handful, such as GetUserIdentities, GetUserProfile, CreateGroup, CreateUser, AddUserToGroup, etc. (names may not be exact).
I suspect that this will be an unsupported implementation, but we are moving ahead because our users are dependent upon some of the fixes introduced in version 4.5.
