matrix item not showing content

Hello

I have set up a survey in the online demo (01 test / copy of csp ) in this survey is a matrix item containing a column of checkbox / radio / drop down list.

neither of these columns display when testing the survey. the grid is there but empty.

I have tested previously that matrix item with open ended text does work (see for instance 01 test / csp)

I have found why the elements are not showing, this is because I selected a "header display" for the row instead of "normal"

As you've discovered, the "header" row lets you add a separator row in the matrix so you can group similar things together or to provide a visual break for large questions.

The third type of row is the "other" row, which displays a text input instead of a predefined label. The respondent can then provide his/her own label and answer the rest of the questions in the row.
