Default date in textbox
How do you set a date field to default to today's date?
Thanks in advance!

Currently it is not possible to set the default text to the current date; however, the development team is working on adding this functionality to our next major release, Checkbox 4.5.
Because it is still under development we do not have a firm release date at this time. If we do not encounter any unforeseen issues a Spring release is anticipate though.

I don't see this feature in 4.5.xx. Is there an update to the status?

Current date was added as a value that can be piped. It is listed under "Response Data".

Thank you. Those are all handy.
- When I use use the current date it puts in @@CurrentDateUS and I submit the form with it there. When I edit again, it is blank. Is that expected (e.g. is it now an internal setting)?
- Do you know if when the survey allows editing of the response whether the date entered will remain or the current date inserted again?
Thanks,
