Strange Email / invitation format

I am trying to use the HTML E-mail format, in Invitation Manager, and the format is acting strange.. When i send the messages there are spaces and page breaks, all over the place.. i have tried hand typing the message body as well as copying from word.. Any Idea?

Here is what the final message looks like..

When I try to use the TEXT format,All the text is jammed into the left 40 px or so, of the screen.. Almost like a 20% table is holding the data..

Is the "Limit Email Message Line Length" option enabled? If so what value have you specified as the maximum length? These settings are located on the Application Settings page which can be found by navigating to Settings -> Application Settings.
