problem editing a survey response
For questions of type checkbox when you edit a response and uncheck one of the options, the change does not save. So, users can only check new options and have no way of undoing previously checked options.
I see the same issue with drop down list questions. When editing a response, the user can change to any other option but the default 'Select:' (value="____NONE_SELECTED____").
We can add another option for "None" for drop down list questions to get around this issue, but we can't figure out how to get around the issue with the checkbox questions.
We are using version 4.4
Please advise.

The issue with being able to uncheck checkboxes has been resolved in version 4.5.3, which is the latest version of Checkbox. If you have a current support contract, you should be able to download this version from the customer area of our web site. The download contains instructions for applying the patch.

Well I was hoping that would be the case, so I had already started the upgrade in our development environment. I used the test page to create a response to a survey. On the final page I checked all the checkboxes to a question and clicked finish.
Then using the admin pages I went in and found the response and chose the option to edit my response. I went to the final page and uncecked all of the checkboxes but one and clicked finish. The summary page came up and it only showed the one option that I left checked so it appeared to work. However when I choose to edit that same response again all the checkboxes were still checked.
Please tell me there is something wrong with the way I am testing this.
Thanks in advance
