Reporting Performance Help
We have a report with 107 items and it takes about 40 seconds to display the report editor. Filters are used to display various conditions. Would performance improve if we broke these into separate pages?
When running a trace through SQL Server Profiler, I counted well over 15,000 stored procedure calls to render the report editor.
Any other performance tricks advice would be appreciated.
We are running v4.5.3.46.
Thanks.

Breaking the report into multiple pages may improve performance, but I don't think it will be a significant change. Your best option is to patch to Checkbox 4.6. In this release several changes were made to improve the performance of the reporting pages.

Thanks. I'll try to partition first then upgrade if need be.
