matrix rating scale style issue
After upgrading to 4.6.4.7 we're having some formatting issues with matrices. I may have isolated it to the text on rating scales not using the style applied to the header row. Or it may be all radio buttons. Not sure yet. All I know is that the values for the scale can't be read because the font is the same color as the background. But just for the values assigned to the scale not the scale itself (i.e. "always" & "never" do not appear but 1, 2,3,4 ,5 do). Other users are reporting similar issues with the scale itself having "highlighted" numbers (font is one color, background another with a third color highlighting the text). Any suggestions? This particular study is on a time crunch.

solution
I just tried the new beta chat support. Success!
Here's how to fix this issue. Edit the style in question and go to the Fonts & Colors tab. Click on Header Answer Font and a new window will appear with all the style properties attached to Header Answer Font. There is also space to add new css properties. Add in background-color and assign it the same value as the background of the header row.
Since we just upgraded I didn't realize this feature was there. It should allow a lot more control over the css.

I'm glad to here that the support team was able to help you resolve your issue.
The style properties pop up you mentioned has been available in the product for several releases. Admittedly they are easy to overlook. In Checkbox 5.0 we are working on redesigning the style editor page. One of the main goals is to make these advanced features more accessible.Last edited by pwiesner; 09-17-2009 at 05:37 PM.

I am having a problem with the text in the header row. the labels for each column are way too close to each other where it seems like the text should be wrapping it just continues on to the right. Then there is basically no space between the labels
