Question Delete permissions on survey responses

    Hi,

There are 2 users who have the same permissions on a survey:

    - Administer Survey
    - Edit/Take Survey
    - Take Survey
    - View Survey Responses
    - Analyze Data

and both are assigned the roles of Survey Administrator and Report Administrator.

However, when accessing View Reponses, User 2 can only see 1 out of the 3 delete options (Delete all test responses). User 1 (survey creator) can see all 3 (Delete all responses, Delete all test responses, Delete selected responses).

I went through the complete Checkbox Permissions Guide and didn't see anything about delete permissions.

User 2 now acts as manager of the survey and needs to be able to delete individual responses, which is not possible now.

    Please help!

    Thank you,

    Eve

Based on your description it sounds like the two users do not have exactly the same permissions. The permissions you listed are actually groups of permissions. If you click the "Ungroup Permissions" button you should see the individual permissions that have been assigned to each user. You will need grant the "Analysis.Responses.Edit" permission to the second user.

    Default Delete responses permissions

That's exactly what I needed to know. It works.

    Thanks!
