Survey udpdate

I need to update an existing item on a survey. I inactivated the survey first, which allowed me to go into the Edit mode. However, the "Submit" button does not work even though when I put my curser over it the hand icon appears.

Please help!!

Please go to Properties for your survey, check the box for "Allow editing of this survey while it is active and collecting responses" and click Submit. Then when you go back to the survey editor you can make changes. After making changes, feel free to go back and uncheck "Allow editing of this survey while it is active and collecting responses".

Please note that this functionality exists in order to prevent people from accidentally deleting responses. If you make large changes to an item, such as removing item options or changing the order of item options, previously collected responses will be lost.
