    Default Respondents saving during survey

Is there a way for the people taking the survey to "save" and come back to where they left off?

Yes. On the survey permissions screen you will need to check "Allow Users to Resume". After saving your changes navigate to the survey style page. On the style page you should now see an option labeled "Show "Save And Exit" Button".

I spoke too soon, the default option is for users to "Resume" but I do not see the "Show save" button on the style page.

The "Save and Exit" button option is only available in Checkbox.

Ultimate Survey automatically saves the users answers each time the "Next" button in the survey is clicked. When a respondent takes a survey and doesn't complete it all the way, Ultimate Survey will automatically take the user to the page they left on if the survey is configured to allow respondents to resume incomplete responses (this is the allow resume setting on the permissions page). For this to work, Ultimate Survey must be able to identify the user either through a web cookie placed on the repsondent's computer for public surveys, or by finding responses entered by the user for private surveys.

In Checkbox, the additional option mentioned in a previous post was added. When the "Save and Exit" button is clicked, a screen showing a custom URL for that particular response is show and can (optionally) be emailed to the respondent. This link will allow the respondent to resume an incomplete response, even if their browser blocks cookies.
