Help with the Merge Checbox Results export
Hi All,
We are using version - Ultimate Survey Enterprise v3.0.9. I am having trouble with exporting survey results when the Merge Checkbox results option is chosen. I can do all the other exports except this particular one. The Merge Check.... option works with other survey exports but not the particualr one in question.
When I do go to exort the results using the Merge .... option I get the following in the export the first line are the questions text and then comes the html:
<Br />
<Br />
","<html> <head> <link rel=""stylesheet"" type=""text/css"" href=""/stylesheets/UltimateSurveyStyles.css"" /> </head> <body topmargin=""0"" bottommargin=""0"" rightmargin=""0"" leftmargin=""0""><table id=""_ctl2_mainHeaderTable"" cellspacing=""0"" cellpadding=""0"" border=""0"" style=""background-color:White;height:55px;width:100%;border-collapse:collapse;"">"

This goes on for more but I did not want to include.
Has anyone any idea as to how to correct.
Thanks so much for any help,

Unfortunately Ultimate Survey is no longer officially supported. If an error occurs when exporting results the error message is saved to the export file. The html you have included appears to be the mark up for Ultimate Survey's top level navigation. No error message is present.
If you change the export's extension to .html and open it in a web browser you should be able to view the error. Please copy and paste the error message to this thread. If it is a known issue we may be able to assist you with it.

I reviewed several old tickets and found a similar error to the one you are experiencing. In those cases the error occurred because some questions did not contain question text. Does your survey contain any questions without text? If so adding question text may resolve your issue.
Alternatively, you could create alias text for your questions and select the option to export results with aliases. Alias text is not displayed to end users. Its intended to be used as a concise description of question which can be used when the actual question text is lengthy.

Yes there are questions without text
I did look at the survey in question and there are 2 questions 15 & 16 that were missing main text. Please view attachment. As you can see from this short example question 15 starts with the a. statement and then continues through the letter h. Letters b through h did not have the original question 15 text. So I added the main text to each one, for question 15 and 16, and tried the export again but still no good.
Unfortunately the person who originally created this survey no longer works her so this is all new to me.
Is there anything else I can try?
Thanks again for all you help.

Unfortunately I have no further suggestions. Ultimate Survey 3.0.9 is close to three years old and support for all Ultimate Survey products ended at the beginning of the year. If you have a valid support contract you could upgrade to Checkbox.
