Using the built in Survey Manager and Survey Editor,
you can create, deploy, and manage surveys using a standard web browser. Survey editors
have total control
over the look and feel of their surveys with these Checkbox
features:
100% Web Based Survey Administration
No client software is required other than a web browser. This is true
of both Checkbox Survey Server (our installed version) and Checkbox
Survey Online (our fully hosted version). Once Checkbox Survey Server is
installed on your servers or your Checkbox Survey Online account is set
up by us, surveys can be created, managed, and analyzed from any web
browser at any time.
WYSIWYG Survey Editor
With Checkbox Survey's 'What You See Is What You Get' Survey Editor, adding questions
or other survey items, changing a survey’s style, or reorganizing a survey is efficient and intuitive.
You can add, copy, move, or delete an item plus add conditions or
branching all from a single page. You also have the option of viewing a
single page, viewing all survey pages, or previewing your survey from
the Survey Editor. The Survey Editor menu bar also directs you to the
Activation and Test pages, where you can activate and de-activate your
survey and create test responses that can be mass deleted separately
from live responses.
Customize Questions
Within the Survey Editor you can easily manipulate and customize
questions to give your survey just the right look and functionality. Use
our built-in spell checker, randomize answers or questions on a page,
specify the number of display columns you want, and change your question
type from within the question page.
Survey Management Interface
Checkbox's Survey Manager allows you to organize and manage all your
surveys from one easy to use screen. You can sort surveys by name,
creator, creation date, number of responses, and status. You can also
organize surveys into folders, search on surveys by name, user name, or
ID, and perform actions such as delete, copy, move, view reports &
responses, and more.
Import/Export Functionality
Survey Manager also allows you to import or export an entire survey,
individual survey items, or survey style templates from/to an XML file.
XML files can be stored offline and imported into Checkbox at a later
date if needed.
