The documentation in this section will pertain to the Checkbox Software Development Kit and the Checkbox Source Code. Most if not all of the documentation in this section will not be applicable without one of these two products. If you would like more details about the Checkbox SDK or Source Code please contact our sales team at email@example.com.
The Checkbox SDK allows a developer to integrate the Checkbox application into their own source code. There are license issues that may arise from such integrations so before you integrate the SDK with your application we do suggest that you get in touch with our sales or support team and let them know what you are attempting to build. This will ensure that you both have the correct license and that our team is ready to assist you as best as possible along the way.
With the Checkbox SDK, you can extend and add to Checkbox. The SDK does not allow you to alter the core functionality of Checkbox, for this, you will require full source code. The SDK will allow you to add additional references, remove references, and add the project into your own solution.
For example, with the SDK you can add additional web services, but you cannot change the code of the already existing web services.
The Checkbox Source Code comes with all source code written by Checkbox. This does not include source code for code that Checkbox has not developed, such as code for the .NET Framework, HiQPDF, and our licensing library.
If you have any questions about what is and what is not included, feel free to reach out and ask. We will be glad to assist you.
