An Alias is an alternate text or value for your survey questions and/or answers. Alias texts are not shown to the respondents but can be extremely helpful in survey reports or exports since they replace the regular survey questions and/or answers.
Aliases can be assigned to the question text if it is overly lengthy and you prefer a shorter version in your reports or exports. Aliases for your answer choices can be used for internal coding, or to display or export an alternate text value or the points associated with an answer, instead of the answer itself.
Users are not required to assign an alias to every survey question. For questions without aliases, the Checkbox will default to the regular question text in reports and exports.

Note: Rating Scale, Net Promoter Score, and Numerical Slider questions DO NOT allow for Alias answer choice text, as these questions are based on a numerical scale and do not have individual answer choice values.

2. Along with your desired export options, tick the box "Export with Aliases." and proceed to “Export”.

The images below show how Alias values can replace the regular values of the options. The first image displays the assigned Aliases, while the second image demonstrates how these Aliases appear in the report for the same question.
